ALIAS Roxanne
Outterridge
MEANING
Roxanne - The Americanization of the name "Roxana",
which was originally the name of a Persian princess. It means "dawn".
Roxanne is also the name of a popular Sting & The Police song, in
which a young woman by the name of Roxanne wears a dress that she doesn't
have to and puts on the red light. The only similarity between these
two fine ladies is that they both apparently glow red. Really. Honest.
Outterridge - The surnamization of a given name from Old English
- Uhtric. The two root words of the name "uht" and "ric"
mean "dawn" and "power" respectively.

fabulous and magnificent, positive attention, social events, accessorizing,
shopping, alphabetizing, organizing, cleaning up, distractions, crickets,
"starting the day out right" with a balanced breakfast like the ones

quiet dusty places, clutter, waking up late (she feels like she's wasted
the day), public transportation, public restrooms, Persephone's goddamned
boyfriend-eating plants, actually doing work

SKILLS
Rise And Shine; When Roxanne enters a room, people suddenly become restless, and, at times, very irritable. Her presence stirs people, making them feel as though it's time to get up and do something constructive. What happens is, Roxanne radiates an aura that makes people feel slightly energized. As long as Roxanne is within eyesight, you are affected by this ability, and as she comes closer to you, its effects become stronger. The thing is, even while transformed, when the ability is amplified, the effects still aren't even that great. It's like waking up after getting a good night sleep, or having a cup of coffee finally kick in.
Even after Roxanne has moved away from you, the energy lingers. And irritability is more likely to occur than cheerfulness - I guess it just depends on whether or not you're a morning person.
We'll Leave the
Light on For You; Roxanne suffers from an embarassing little quirk
which, much to her chagrin, presents itself as a problem frequently. After engaging in any sort of romantic
interaction - from a simple, suggestive touch to serious heavy petting
and beyond - her skin (particularly her arms, shoulders and face) will
glow a soft red color (a blush, if you will). The more sexual the activity,
the brighter the light, and the length of time spent glowing is double
the time of skin-to-skin contact.
Flame-Retardent
Fingers; As long as she's using her hands, hot things don't seem
to bother Roxie very much. It's not just that she can drink her starbucks
without a sleeve, she's rather impervious to hand burns and doesn't
even flinch when touching something very hot. To a lesser extent, this
immunity is present on her arms, but she's slightly more sensetive there.
The rest of her body is unaffected by this ability.
Cry Baby;
No one can turn on the water works like Roxie can, and she seems to
have amazing control over the rate and size of her tears. Her favorite
seems to be combining loud, distraught sobbing with giant, face-soaking
crocodile tears. Somehow, it always seems very authentic, too.
PERSONALITY
Obsessive-compulsive
- why;
Eos has always shown some signs of mental instability. But this did
not come about through rebirthing - it didn't even originate with Rage.
Even on her home planet, the early riser had always been seen as a little
odd; it was only after her transition from Mythite to minion of Rage
that her problem was recognized. As is discussed in the history section,
Roxanne joined Rage very early in its crusade, and when it turned out
that their big black scary cloud of a savior required violence to convert
its "chosen people", she became very reluctant to continue in his service.
To retain her loyalty without rebirthing her, Rage exercised his power
over Eos' sailor crystal and toyed with her emotions. Eos ended up being
one of Rage's many "learning experiences" because her reaction to Rage's
tinkering was hardly a positive one. Burnt out, Eos suffered a brief
reactive psychosis, and rather than allow her time to recover, Rage
put the crazed soldier out on the battlefield and allowed her to take
out a few other Mythos soldiers before rebirthing her.
Through suggestion, Rage created a "true love" for the newly rebirthed
and very confused Sailor Eos. This man, her betrothed, had been transformed
into a cricket in the heat of battle. Rage placed into Eos the belief
that, if all Mythos soldiers were converted, then, surely her fiancé
would turn up as well. The suggestion worked and the fragile sailor
soldier was filled with purpose, at the same time, though, her little
problem had grown into a considerable one.
Obsessive-compulsive
- how;
Roxanne exhibits symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder. However,
her most prevalent compulsions - constant primping and wanton sex -
don't make her stand out much more than any other self-absorbed college
girl. It is only in her strangest compulsions that one begins to wonder
if she's really all that normal. Her preoccupation lies primarily with
two central fears: fear of growing old and fear of being unloved, which
explain why she's always checking herself in reflections and constantly
trying to get some from anyone.
Like most who suffer from OCD, Roxanne is aware that her activities
and/or their frequency are not normal, but she sees them as her only
method of escape from the terrorizing fears that she is plagued with.
If interrupted in the middle of one of her "rituals", Roxanne tends
to panic. Aside from the two mentioned above, Roxie's compulsions include:
checking herself in the mirror, reapplying make up multiple times, sorting
and alphabetizing, and repetition of the phrase "I love you" especially
while engaged in cricket hunting.
ZOMG CRICKETS;
Roxie's "strangest compulsion" would indubitably be her cricket collecting
"hobby". Because she believes her "lost love" to be a cricket, she has
taken to "searching" for him on Earth, and has come up with a small
army of crickets that she keeps meticulously organized in her bedroom
in the Alpha Mu Omega house. Although it can be quite hilarious to watch
Crazy Eos run around catching crickets, it is actually a real problem
for Roxie that regularly interrupts her life; she's spent more than
one evening running around Columbus with a bug net, and becomes incredibly
distressed at the thought of someone touching her potential "boyfriends"
(all of which are individually named, in case one turns out to really
be her Beloved and he can't remember what his real name was).
Slutty Nymphomaniac
Hussy;
Roxanne is rather promiscuous, and by rather, I mean very. While Croix
is constantly falling in love, Roxanne is constantly looking for someone
to love her, and experience has taught her that a quick lay is the fastest
way to get what she's looking for. Of course, Roxie never loves back
- that's absolutely ridiculous - her heart belongs to her betrothed,
good old…uh…what's his name. Roxanne's sexual habits are the product
of her obsessive need to feel love; by engaging in sexual acts, she
is able to feel as though someone cares about her, and has momentary
reprieve from her fear.
Naturally, Roxanne isn't very picky, but she does have her limits. She
likes to think that she has good taste, but finds that people she's
uninterested in are more attracted to her. In terms of attachment, Roxie
doesn't really develop any. She makes a point of avoiding engaging a
partner more than a few times, and never more than twice in a row. She
will sever ties when things look like they're about to go beyond just
sexual gratification, mostly because she's waiting for Mr. Beloved (whatever
his name was), and doesn't want him to think she no longer loves him.
Because of this, Roxie doesn't like to sex up her fellow Alpha Mu Omega
members, since they're kind of hard to get rid of (and you don't shit
where you work).
Other Outlets...not
like that you dirty, dirty person;
Indulging compulsion isn't the only thing that Roxanne does to distract
herself from what terrorizes her on a daily basis, she has a very large
number of personal hobbies and interests to entertain herself and has
taken to multitasking. Roxanne loves simple things like shopping, accessorizing
and bar hopping; and when she's feeling particularly stressed, she finds
that flipping on The Golf Channel is a good way to numb your brain for
a few hours. These traits (well, not so much with the golf channel thing)
help to make Roxie appear at least a little more normal than she really
is.
Anxious & Stressed Out;
Paranoia is something you should probably expect from someone like Roxanne, and she suffers from anxiety quite a bit. As mentioned several times before, Roxanne is weak and easily overwhelmed by her fears and obsessions; unless she feels as though everything is perfectly in control (which it almost never is), she always shows signs of being a bit high strung. Roxanne engages in nervous ticks far more than most people do: touching her hair, looking at her make up, running her tongue along her teeth - if you're talking to her, it's easy to assume she's not even paying attention, the way she moves about.
Unsurprisingly, Roxie tends to crumble under stress quite easily, and complains about it fairly often (she's always whining that she's probably getting an ulcer).
Self-Absorbed;
Even as early as seven years ago, Roxie was an acceptable person to
be around, but since the Alpha Mu Omega arrived on Earth she's become
so preoccupied with her own interests that she's a pain to deal with.
During her travel to Earth, Roxanne had little to do to occupy her mind
save focusing on the destination; being on Earth has taken that one
time consuming task away from her, and Roxie was left with finding other
ways of distracting herself from her almost constant panic-inducing
concerns.
Left unchecked, this has grown a point where Roxie's loyalties lie only
with Rage, and that is only because he offers her a potential cure to
her fears. She rarely considers how her teammates feel about something,
and will act with little regard for their well-being. Even the search
for her imaginary true love, which seemed to be Roxie's one redeeming
quality, is motivated by her need to feel love, rather than her concern
for the welfare of her supposed fiancé.
Shallow;
Roxanne's primping and preening are not merely nervous ticks, indulged in to feed her compulsion. They are also the product of her interest in appearances. In general, Roxie puts a bit too much of an emphasis on surface value - especially when it comes to the attractiveness of other people - and very rarely considers the deeper meaning of things. Generally, this manifests less as nastiness and more as something that makes Roxie seem rather air-headed; "Oh, this old piece of metal is dirty, so it must not be worth a lot." or "Ah, the Hummer is three times larger than a Cougar, so it must get better gas mileage!" - Those sorts of things.
Dizzy Blonde;
If your favorite hobbies are shopping and accessorizing, stereotypically, you aren't going to be the brightest crayon in the box. Sadly, Roxanne does very little to abolish sort of pattern. Sure, she's more intelligent than she lets on, but sometimes you really have to wonder if she's ever actually using her brain. Roxie makes a lot of small, bad decisions - like keeping a small army of crickets in her bedroom and letting a Pandora loose on the streets of Columbus - that, generally, aren't extremely detrimental (to herself, at least), but aren't the wisest choices, either. Perhaps her biggest flaw, in this respect, is her penchant for forgetting important details when communicating things: when explaining or requesting something or delivering a message, for instance, she almost always manages to leave out extremely important pieces of information. For this reason, Roxie never, ever plays the part of Rage's herald. Our favorite intergalactic plague has suffered one too many botched operations because Eos said "Go crazy!" instead of "Go crazy! Tear them to shreds and get their locket when you're done!"
Confident;
Despite her shortcomings, Roxanne still manages to carry herself extremely well. This is mostly because she is completely oblivious to her own faults, outside of her extremely obvious problem with her obsessive-compulsive disorder, although it's not like she doesn't have any positive assets at her command. The most prominent of these assets is Roxie's physical appearance: she's got it and she flaunts it. Roxanne is extremely proud of how she looks, and this has the most profound effect on Roxanne's confidence level.
Roxanne's confidence only extends so far. If things start to get messy (literally or figuratively), she generally breaks down and assumes the deer in headlights position. If Roxie can't control at least her immediate surroundings, it becomes incredibly hard for her to remain brave and confident. Often, Roxie is the first to flee when things show even the slightest signs of getting out of hand.
Drama Queen;
Roxanne loves to make everything into a major theatric endeavor. She finds that, typically, men are very responsive to a girl who turns on the water works or who reacts gravely to even the slightest short comings, and she uses this to her advantage; the reaction to her weepy melodrama doesn't even have to be positive, as long as it gets at least a glance. Although her nature as a drama queen was initially just a skill employed to garner attention from the opposite sex, as it has been used more and more, it, like her self-absorption, has become a major part of her overall persona - a habit that, by now, would be next to impossible to break. At one time, crying over spilled milk was something that was done to get the cute boy to come over and help her, now, though, it's a natural, gut reaction.
Limelight? More Like Spotlight;
Attention is something that Roxanne craves - positive or negative, it doesn't really matter, although the good kind is decidedly more desirable. Surprisingly, it's rather hard for Roxie to grab someone's attention without looking or acting outrageous: wash away the make up and take away the striking clothing and Roxie just looks like any other generic, hive-mentality white teenager; keep her from acting loud and promiscuous and she really doesn't do anything remarkable. Because of this, it's always been relatively difficult for Sailor Eos to garner much attention - sure she's beautiful but she doesn't really do anything amazing, does she? - and so, to Roxie, it only seems natural that dolling up your appearance and spicing up your personality are great ways to make yourself stand out more.
As mentioned, Sailor Eos (not so much Roxanne) was always starved for attention. On Earth, it has become surprisingly easy to get, and so she enjoys acting out (i.e. melodrama, talking loudly in public, dressing provocatively) to draw the glances of others. Roxie isn't particularly fond of sharing the spotlight, and becomes ridiculously jealous when people steal her thunder.
Seems Normal;
Unlike most of her Ancient Rebirth allies, Roxanne seems pretty lucid,
if a bit weird. She disdains her peers - especially the craziest ones
- and does her best to distance herself from them. Roxanne could easily
qualify for a leadership position if not for the fact that she tends
to crumble into a heap at the mere mention of the word "stress".
Roxie seems normal, but the truth is she is intensely unstable
and incredibly easily distracted.
APPEARANCE
HAIR. Roxanne's
hair has the kind of shine that you only see in a shampoo commercial.
Her hair is short, bangless and choppy - cut so that it falls just below
the chin - and golden blonde. Despite the sheen and texture of her luscious
locks, her hair falls a little too flat. She tries desperately to give
her hair a bit of oomph in the volume department, but nothing seems
to work very well; as far as styling goes, she simply lets her fair
fall where it wants to. (sample picture of hairstyle).
FACIAL DETAILS. Carefully-applied make up always decorates Roxanne's heart-shaped face. Her fair-skinned, full cheeks and round nose are always lightly brushed with a soft pink blush, and her thin lips are usually adorned in a matching lipstick. Roxy's eyes are light blue, ringed in yellow around the pupil - the yellow ring isn't really noticable from a distance, but close up the mix of colors is plainly obvious. Roxy's blonde eyebrows are thin, but are the vibrant golden yellow of her hair, so they are not invisible.
BUILD.
Roxanne doesn't possess a particularly outstanding physique. In general, she doesn't stand out, and looks like every other sorority girl on campus. At 5'4, Roxanne is on the shorter end of average. She is skinny, and generally very average - B cup, size 10 jeans, size 7 shoes. In terms of musculature, Roxanne is rather out of shape. She looks kind of squishy.
MODE OF DRESS.
If it makes her look fabulous, then Roxy will wear it. Roxanne is a fan of conventional clothing (read: what's currently trendy) in bright colors. She's not modest, and has a collection of miniskirts large enough to clothe most of the population of Ethiopia (and that's saying something, considering the amount of fabric used on miniskirts). Roxanne loves to look "fancy"; she's the girl you see walking across campus in stiletto sandals, a skirt and fancy top, as though she's ready to go clubbing at the drop of a hat.
OTHER DETAILS.
Naturally, Roxanne takes painstaking measures to ensure that her appearance is always perfect. One out of place hair is not simply irritating, it's grounds for the Earth to stop rotating. She's got a massive array of nervous ticks that involve her appearance - checking her face in anything reflective, pulling on clothing, adjusting her hair, reapplying make up, running her tongue along her teeth. It's quite irritating.
HISTORY
Roxanne spends very little time dwelling upon her past. When asked about how she became involved in the Alpha Mu Omega organization, she describes her life prior to her membership as being lonely, frightening and depressing. After finding the organization, she became the woman she is today – something that she, at least, is very happy with. This explanation, though fairly typical for members of Rage’s group, is actually relatively accurate.
Sailor Eos joined Rage willfully, on Mythos, meaning that, at one time, she was a member of the Remnant rank. This position was relatively short lived, because the naïve young woman eventually realized her master’s true intention; she voiced her dismay, but rather than being met with an understanding lord, she was subjected to a bit of psychiatric tinkering. The intergalactic plague noted that Eos did not react as violently as many of her other allies did, and wanted to attempt to preserve her sanity – the opposite happened. A few wires were apparently crossed during Rage’s experiment, and Sailor Eos broke down, suffering an extremely violent case of reactive psychosis. Not one to waste an opportunity like this, Rage threw the now maddened soldier of dawn out into the battlefield. The warrior took down several other sailor soldiers before eventually being taken down herself.
Rage recovered several lockets from this fiasco, Sailor Eos’s included, and rebirthed the soldier of dawn. Rage had previously taken notice of Sailor Eos’s trouble with distractions, and in an attempt to keep her focused, implanted the memory of a Hoplite – her true love – who had been turned into a cricket in battle. This worked for a while, but it soon became obvious that the rebirthing had made Sailor Eos’s obsessive-compulsion even worse, and the missing lover only fueled the problem; at least this time, it meant that she was more eager to bring in unconverted sailor soldiers. Much to her master’s chagrin, the soldier of dawn spent the vast majority of her time on Mythos following her rebirthing just hunting for crickets.
The journey from Mythos to Earth did some good to Eos’s problem, and calmed her hyperactive neurosis considerably. She educated herself on culture primarily through daytime television (which could possibly explain her penchant for the melodramatic), although she did spend a good deal of time just watching people on campus. In terms of adaptation, Eos has made herself quite at home on Earth, and has had very little trouble adjusting to the new culture, and enjoys herself immensely. It actually took Eos over a year to finally settle on the name Roxanne. Prior to that time, she would introduce herself with random, common names – Jennifer, Stephanie, Katie, Hilary. For a while, it was rather awkward to run into two different people at the same time who greeted her with two completely different names, but it’s been over six years since she settled on Roxanne, and so it generally doesn’t happen anymore.
Roxanne Outterridge is a nineteen-year-old college freshman living in the Alpha Mu Omega house. Prior to this time, she lived with her parents, David Outterridge III Esq. and his lovely wife Cathy, in Duck on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She joined a local branch of Alpha Mu Omega while still in high school, and was encouraged to attend OSU, where their headquarters are located. She is currently majoring in Theology, in compound studies, although she rarely attends classes. All of this, of course, is a lie.
RELATIONS
David Outterridge III Esq - Roxanne's father, from Duck, North Carolina. He is apparently very rich and handsome. He also does not exist.
Cathy Outterridge - David's lovely wife, and Roxanne's doting mother. She is beautiful, enthusiastic, active in her community, and not real.
NAME Sailor
Eos
RANK Ancient Rebirth
ELEMENT OF INFLUENCE The Dawn
LOCKET
Eos's locket folds down to close, meaning that, when unopened, it is a thick, silver half-circle hinged on both sides in silver. When she is transformed, Eos's locket opens up to become a full circle, dark gray on the bottom and gold on the top. The golden portion is indented, where her sailor crystal used to be, although now it is clearly gone.
COLOR SCHEME flax (#EEDC82)
and Dark Mountbatton Pink (#997A8D). Once
upon a time, Eos's uniform was a more cheerful mix of saffron and mountbatton pink.
UNIFORM
HEAD. A circlet of crispy brown laurel leaves wreath Eos's
head, but they rest behind a gold and crystal diadem with an intricate
flowered design (picture). The tiny tiara
puts off a considerable amount of light for its size, and surrounds
Eos in a halo of light that seems like something out of an Christian
religious painting. Eos's hair is covered in droplets of dew. A large gray smudge obscures the symbol on Sailor Eos's forehead.
TOGA. As with all Alpha Mu Omega of her rank, Sailor Eos's toga
is gray. However, at the bottom, it is a soft purple-gray color that fades gradually as it moves up the toga to be completely gray.
MINIDRESS. Sailor Eos's locket, surrounded by a lopsided mountbatton pink
bow, rests in the center of her chest connecting the flax-colored sailor
collar to her minidress. The pink bow's left ribbon tail is much longer than the right, which is obviously tattered.
Under the short, white sleeves of Eos's dress is another set of sheer, yellow long sleeves that stretch to her wrist. The minidress itself is fairly standard - a white top area connected to a flax-colored skirt. The skirt portion is unique in that it is embroidered in her secondary color with flowers that twist upward from the bottom hem of the dress. This embroidery has long since begun to fall out, and there are stray threads and missing patches all over the fabric.
FOOTWEAR. Eos wears a pair of golden, open-toed greecian style
sandals that strap at the ankle and have a stiletto heel.
WINGS. From Eos's back springs a magnificent light show. Bright blue-white and rosy pink streaks of light make up the feathers of Eos's plumage. These colored lights roughly confine themselves to a sharp wing-like shape, and the individual streaks vaguely resemble feathers. The wings are relatively small, but stretch up and out, rather than curling down. The size of the wings varies, as the lights tend to waver, but, from tip to tip the diameter of the luminous wings is about 5'.
TRANSFORMATION
“Eos Power, Enrage!”
Roxanne forcibly opens her locket as she shouts her transformation phrase, bracing herself, squinting, and holding the locket as far away from her as possible. Once the locket has opened, pink, purple and golden light explodes from the inside, but is then immediately overcome by black smoke that billows forth. The clouds immediately fall down to the ground, surround Roxanne and then move up around her, encasing her like a fluffy cocoon. The smoke swirls about her in a clockwise motion for a few seconds before a faint pink-gold light breeches it. Golden beams of light shoot out from the dark cloud in all directions, breaking up the shadow, leaving a glowing Sailor Eos standing where Roxanne had been a moment earlier.
ATTACK 1
“Sunrise Stampede!”
Eos begins this attack by pushing her arms out as though throwing open gates or doors and shouting “Sunrise!” A warm, pink and gold light shines from Eos’s outstretched arms and her open hands. She then closes her hands as though grasping something thin, which creates long, golden reigns of glitter. She snaps the reigns once, shouting, “Stampede” (usually tacking ‘enrage’ on, too), and suddenly the sound of galloping horses fills the air. From Eos’s chest burst forth two ethereal horses made entirely of purple, red and gold light. The horses charge forward, running straight through the desired target.
The horses gallop on for about fifteen feet after hitting their target. There are several results from this ability: the target is both startled and damaged, and, interestingly, left covered and dew and smelling strongly of flowers. The horses effect the area around them strangely – any insects they pass immediately begin chirping, and any streetlights or other electronics effected by levels of illumination immediately turn off as the horses pass. This attack is easy to perform and has a low energy requirement, so Sailor Eos prefers this ability to her second attack. She can perform it roughly three times per hour, needing only a short while to recharge.
ATTACK 2
“Crepuscular Mischief!”
Sailor Eos begins this attack by gathering a large globule of dew in her hand – one roughly the size of a softball. She then squeezes her fist shut, the dew leaks out in a stream which falls to the ground without splashing, assuming the shape of a whip. As Eos cracks the whip, she shouts “Crepuscular!” and the watery whip dissipates, sending tiny dew drops in all directions (many actually splashing on Eos, herself). At this point, the surrounding area falls into darkness, and Eos shouts “Mischief!” (it’s usually here that she tacks ‘Enrage!’ onto the end, otherwise, the area would still be engulfed in darkness). Light, seemingly from out of nowhere, refracts on each dewdrop, slowly illuminating the surrounding area, casting a bluish-gold light that casts long shadows on everything that protrudes from the ground.
As the light from the dewdrops grows brighter, these shadows suddenly take on vaguely human forms and jump up from the ground. They are given around fifty seconds to run about causing mayhem before the light grows so bright that they disappear. Once they have disappeared, the attack ends and the lighting returns to normal. The duration of this ability is roughly a minute and a half, all together, with fifty of those seconds dedicated to the actual girth of the attack’s damage.
From the moment Eos shouts “Mischief”, she becomes locked in place and is unable to move or react to anything around her; this would ordinarily make her an easy target, but she is covered in the dew from her attack. The light that emanates from the tiny drops of water is incredibly irritating to the eye if you look directly into it, and since there is almost a large concentration of this dew on Sailor Eos, she’s kind of hard to focus on. Regardless, one good attack, physical or magical, will disrupt her concentration and abruptly end the ability.
The shadows themselves are, essentially, the “attack” part of this ability; in fifty seconds, these creatures can cause quite a problem. Most of the shadows are not outright malicious, but instead delight in trickery and pranks – pulling hair, breaking things, tripping people, biting and scratching, and so very rarely are people seriously injured, although they will almost certainly be distracted and irritated. The shadows are impervious to physical damage, but can be grasped and thrown about, or destroyed if direct light is cast upon them.
After completing this attack, Sailor Eos is left drained, often stumbling about for some time before she recovers. Because of this, Eos generally saves this ability for use when she knows she can make a quick get away, and can, obviously, only use it once every few hours.
TRAITS
When you fell from heaven, did it hurt?; While transformed, Sailor
Eos seems to garner a lot of attention from a lot of people, moreso
than some other sailor soldiers. Despite the fact that her clothes appear
threadbare, her ethereal appearance and soft glow seem to inspire awe
and, in the extremely religious Christian crowd, some hysterical weeping
and begging to be saved.
Because Eos's appearance is uncannily like that of traditional Christian
angelic imagery, she appears more familiar than the other Mythos soldiers
and most certainly more "good" than her fellow Alpha Mu Omegas.
This isn't really a magic effect so much as Earthlings being fucking
crazy. Roxanne adores the attention, but finds the mass hysteria about
"The Reckoning" to be quite irritating.
Dawn's Splendor;
Eos's entire body glows softly all the time. The glow isn't particularly
noticeable unless it's dark, in which case she stands out like a fiery
orange and pink flood light. The glow spreads out for about two foot
before tapering off, and is directly connected to her innate ability
"The Dark from the Light".
SKILLS &
ABILITIES
Distinguishing the black thread from the white thread; Anything
that occupies the space within Eos's "Dawn's Splendor" light
immediately begins to put off an aura that is black or white. Those
who have been influenced by evil (i.e. possessed by rage) or who have
committed an evil act (murder, adultery, rape, The Big Stuff) will indubitably
be surrounded by an aura of gray to black, while those innocent of such
charges are surrounded by a white aura. This sort of thing doesn't help
with the whole "ZOMG THE RAPTURE IS UPON US!" deal from the
human peanut gallery.
Dew Factory;
Sailor Eos is able to spontaneously generate droplets of dew in her
hands. She utilizes these for her attacks, or to just give someone a
hearty wet handshake. If she wants to be more theatrical about it, Sailor
Eos can also use her tears as dew.
WEAPON The dew whip that appears in Eos's second attack. It only manifests during the attack, though, and is not for use in regular combat.
PANDORA Eos's Pandora urn is a sturdy metal cage, roughly one hand high. In each of these cages, Eos keeps a cricket. The crickets are then filled with the combined essences of Rage and her own power, making them into the actual Pandora monster.
Eos releases her pandora by simply opening the cage door. The cricket hops out and immediately begins to grow, until it eventually hits about four foot in length. At this point, it gains the ability to stand upright, making it appear even more bizarre. At this point, the cricket's growing slows considerably, but still continues.
Low in intelligence, but high in power, these crickets serve as amazing distractions - their skills in solving problems and successfully hunting people are laughable, though. They are large, and do not operate well in small spaces; their exoskeletons are rather brittle, making their skin easy to break; although they are weak to both physical and magical damage, being bugs, they also manage to keep on going, even after they've lost several important body parts. |
