Since this application did not receive an outright acceptance, I have provided
much more information in the overall review than simply "strengths"
and "suggestions". This is normal procedure for applications that are
not immediately accepted.
Kayleigh Kyra
Wyatt. Sailor Apollo. The MYTHOS
Organization.
Overview
I was working on giving this application a full review, but it ended up
being two or three pages of “Please read the website.” “Please read the
accepted character profiles.” and “Please read the provided help articles” over
and over and over again. And that is, essentially, what the last review for
this character was. The same problems are persisting as they did with the first
character. Kayleigh Kyra
Wyatt does not mean “Slender Angel that is Brave.”
Wyatt means “war hardy” or, if you really want to stretch it “brave in war” and
Kyra is a nod to the name Cyrus, which references the
sun and has nothing to do with angels. The improvements in the application were
far outweighed by its problems - although the personality’s length had grown,
the content had just become more unbelievable.
You also still seem too focused on shacking up with male characters. Even
going so far as to power play in your plot points:
“Ares actually manages to get Apollo drunk, and then gets her to send one of her songs off to her favorite artist. When she wakes up the next morning, she realizes that the song made it’s why to L.A and she said something to a certain Mythos Hoplite and tries to correct it while nursing one hell of a hangover headache.”
Here’s a quote directly from Valdis/Ares’s player
regarding this subject:
“…unless she sings heavy metal valdis doesn’t give a
rat’s ass. Actually, probably not even then, since she’s a chick and he doesn’t
generally listen to chicks singing.”
You also decided for Isabel that she would not like your character. This is another
form of blatant power play.
My suggestions:
Spend more than a few hours on your application.
Read everything.
Spend more than a few hours on your application.
Verdict: Declined.
