September 1, 1996 – (Aug 11, 2003)
-Students
ride the Hogwarts Express to Hogwarts.
-Two
aurors ride on the train with the students (Kingsley Shacklebolt & Ping
Chang)
-Neville
Longbottom’s toad, Trevor, gets loose and visits cabins. Toad causes an uproar
in the cabin where Dante, Eugene, and Toby are. Finally apprehended by
Kingsley.
-Sorting
ceremony and feast. Dumbledore announces the return of Trewlaney, and
introduces Shacklebolt as DADA teacher.
September 2, 1996 – (Aug 12, 2003)
-Dante
Summers, Eugene Stebbins, and Toby Randall begin collecting dinner rolls.
-Professor
McGonagall helps Stebbins find his “root” which spreads ‘confused sexuality
pamphlets’ about the school.
September 3, 1996 – (Aug 13, 2003)
-Shacklebolt
returns Neville Longbottom’s toad.
September 4, 1996 – (Aug 14, 2003)
-Ron
Weasley takes some ‘sexuality’ pamphlets and stuffs them in Malfoy’s bags.
First major Weasley v. Malfoy fight of the year.
September 6, 1996 – (Aug 16, 2003)
-Professor
Ward explains the use of journals to all students at Hogwarts.
-Dennis
Creevy infiltrates the Slytherin commonroom.
September 7, 1996 – (Aug 17, 2003)
-Dennis
suffers hypothermia from a freezing charm cast by Terrence Higgs.
September 8, 1996 – (Aug 18, 2003)
-Quidditch tryouts week
begins. (Ends Sept. 14)
September 10, 1996 – (Aug 20, 2003)
-Toby
hatches a plan with Stebbins, Summers, and Janey concerning dinner rolls and
pirates.
September 14, 1996 – (Aug 24, 2003)
-Dante Summers, Eugene Stebbins,
Toby Randall, and Janey Fawcett storm the Great Hall on their makeshift boat.
Their dinner roll pillaging leads to a food fight that leaves Dante and
Stebbins injured. Punishments are light, as teachers participated in the ordeal
as well.
September 16, 1996 – (Aug 26, 2003)
-Remus
announces to the order that he and Tonks are searching for a new HQ for the lot
of them.
September 19, 1996 – (Aug 29, 2003)
-Dennis
Creevy once again sneaks out but is caught this time by Romeo Montague.
September 21, 1996 – (Aug 31, 2003)
-Dennis
has been missing for two days. Romeo finally requests a ransome.
September 24, 1996 – (Sept 3, 2003)
-Gryffindors
Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ronald Weasley employ Hufflepuffs Stebbins,
Summers, and Randall to help in rescuing Dennis from the Slytherins.
-The
trio kidnap Justin Finch-Fletchley. Shouts of “VIVA LA HUFFLEPUFF” are heard
throughout the castle.
-A
‘great battle’ ensues. With the aid of Terrence Higgs, Creevey is rescued by
Potter & Co while Justin Finch-Fletchley is put in his place.
September 25, 1996 – (Sept 5, 2003)
-Dumbledore
announces organization of a quodpot team at Hogwarts.
September 29, 1996 – (Sept 9, 2003)
-Madam
Hooch returns from a quodpot-quidditch conference in the US. She verifies
quodpot coming to Hogwarts and lays out a few rules.
September 30, 1996 – (Sept 10, 2003)
-Dumbledore stresses his
disappointment in those involved with the raid on the Slytherin commons and
announces that new protective charms and hexes are being placed on all the
common room entrances.
-Dumbledore
announces that the Hallowe’en feast will be shorter this October to make room
for a Hallowe’en ball for years 4-7, and trick or treating in Hogsmeade for the
other grades.
October 7, 1996 – (September 16, 2003)
-Fransika
Hasler and Terrence Higgs make plans to keep Dennis Creevy out of trouble by
getting him a tank of spiders. They volunteer to help Professor Sinistra clean.
October 14, 2003 – (September 23, 2003)
-Romeo
Montague ‘declares war’ on certain Hufflepuffs because of their bizarre
behavior toward him.
October 17, 1996 – (September 26, 2003)
-Someone
replaces Draco Malfoy’s hairgel with glue.
October 19, 1996 – (September 28, 2003)
-Phoebe
Welling starts a petition to get people to support quodpot.
-Joey
Ahearn gets a bloody nose and people laugh because this is funny. (Apparently
the whap to the face also makes Joey suddenly incredibly and inexplicably hot)
October 20, 1996 – (September 29, 2003)
-So
many students are coming down with the flu that the hospital wing is getting
over crowded. Many children are just given pepper up potions and sent back to
class.
October 21, 1996 – (September 30, 2003)
-Toby
Randall passes out in the hallway after DADA. Kingsley learns of his illness.
October 22, 1996 – (October 1, 2003)
-Padma Patil and Mint Ramsay
organize fliers, applications, and a booth in the Great Hall for girls-without-dates.
They spend two days in the Great Hall during dinner pushing applications in an
attempt to get dates for themselves and their friends.
October 31, 1996 – (October 10, 2003)
-Seventh
years leave class early to create a Hall of Horror.
-Halloween
feast takes place early.
-First
through third years, several prefects, and some teachers head out to Hogsmeade
for trick or treating
-Fourth
through sixth years attend a ball in the great hall.
-50
Knut, Hufflepuff Daddy, and The Chubby Cherubs—three hugely popular
bands/singers—are featured during the Halloween dance.
-A
large mosh pit injures several students and they are sent to the hospital wing.
-A
small group of Death Eaters attack Hogsmeade late at night but are stopped by
members of the Order.
-Joey
finds out that his mother is pregnant
November 1, 1996 – (October 11, 2003)
-Zach
Smith’s owl returns home looking larger than usual. Mint Ramsay’s owl returns
looking very smug…
-Dumbledore
announces the events in Hogsmeade to the entire student body that morning at
breakfast.
November 9, 1996 – (October 19, 2003)
-Quodpot
sign ups in the great hall. Weeklong quodpot tryouts announced.
-The
Hufflepuff trio is sent to the hospital wing briefly to tend to heavy burns and
blisters to their hands for breaking the rules on the quodpot sign up sheets.
November 13, 1996 – (October 23, 2003)
-Mint
Ramsay starts UTERUS, an organization dedicated to eliminating illegal drug use
and alcohol consumption from Hogwarts.
November 15, 1996 – (October 25, 2003)
-First
quidditch game of the year—Gryffindor VS Ravenclaw. Gryffindor wins. Harry
catches the snitch.
November 16, 1996 – (October 26, 2003)
-Quodpot
teams announced for all four houses. (For complete roster with names, houses
& years, ask Maji!)
-Romeo
Montague starts an Anti-Quodpot movement which rouses a great deal of unrest
and not too many sign ups.
November 20, 1996 – (October 30, 2003)
-Mint
Ramsay calls for a U.T.E.R.U.S. meeting to be held on the upcoming Wednesday.
-Nearly
all the students in years 1 through 3 set off noisemakers in the great hall
during lunch causing a mighty raucus.
-Seventy-two
points were taken from each house in one night, adding up to the largest
reduction of points in the history of Hogwarts.
-The head of operations for this
prank, a third year Gryffindor, had his friends attack Cho Chang with a
Taratallegra charm while he ran away. The culprit was eventually aprehended by
Toby Randall.
November 22, 1996 – (November 1, 2003)
-Kieran
Sutherby starts P.E.N.I.S. (or Physically and Emotionally Neurotic or Incompetent
Students) after hearing about Blaise Zabini’s folley in the Great Hall during
the prank.
November 23, 1996 – (November 2, 2003)
-An
important prefects meeting is announced to the prefects. It is organized by
Toby Randall, McGonagall and Dumbledore. It is to take place on the upcoming
Tuesday.
December 1, 1996 – (November 10, 2003)
-McGonagall
posts a list for children staying at hogwarts over winter break to sign.
December 2, 1996 – (November 11, 2003)
-Daphne Greengrass posts
letters about having a New Year’s Eve party at the Greengrass estate over the
winter break.
December 5, 1996 – (November 14, 2003)
-Dante
Summers messes up on an important potion, sets off a chain reaction which
changes all witches and wizards into an opposite gender, and randomly
transfigures many of the animals.
December 6, 1996 – (November 15, 2003)
-Bill
Weasley pays a visit to Hogwarts to find the chaos. Becomes a woman himself. Is
placed in the infirmary.
-Hogwarts
is quarentined.
-Dante
and Toby are given a month’s worth of detentions and massive point reductions
for the mishap.
