| CAST caution: spoilers and stupidity abound. ;* Princess Ovelia Atkascha. Raised in a monastery, the real Princess Ovelia was supposedly the sister of King Omdolia but this Princess Ovelia was adopted by him. The princess is discovered to be a fake but the church continues to use her as a pawn. Ovelia was to be escorted to Prince Larg by Ramza, Gafgarion, Rad, and Agrias but was kidnapped by Delita. Delita falls in love with Princess Ovelia and they are married. Dendemuna Atkascha. King during fifty year war. Father of Omdolia Omdolia Atkascha. King of Ivalice who was a very weak leader. He dies of illness and has no heir to the throne. Orinas Atkascha. This son of Omdolia and Ruvelia was soon revealed to actually be the son of Ruvelia and someone else. Prince Larg insisted that he ascend the throne, but his urges were countered by Goltana. Ruvelia Atkascha. Mother of Orinas and wife of the weak king Omdolia. She basically took command while Omdolia was 'king' and refused to let Ovelia ascend the throne when he died. She had a plan to have Ovelia captured but her plans were spoiled and she was locked away in Beltha Garrison. Grand Duke Galkanis Barinten. AkA The Weapon King. Barinten seeks the Holy Stones to create a monster of a weapon to flaten his enemies. He destroys Rafa and Malak's home village and then takes them in as orphans. He then rapes Rafa because he's obviously deprived, I mean ... GOD ... RAFA? He is killed by one of Elmdor's assassins. Ramza Beoulve. The main character
of the game. Information on him is scattered around the site. Mustadio Bunanza. Mustadio is the
'dorky' engineer from goug machine city. He is in posession of the Holy
Stone Taurus and the elite weapons and smuggling criminal company Bart
Co. is after him for it. They capture Mustadio's father, Besrodio, and
hold him hostage. Mustadio gets in quite a mess when he finally confronts
his father's capturers but is saved by Ramza. Mustadio loves machines,
jokes and a mess of other things. He's a funny sort with little manners.
In the japanese version he refers to his father as 'pop'. Bordam Daravon. He's the dood that
gives you all the tutorials in the game. It's a constant joke in the game
that he talks a LOT and makes many of his pupils fall asleep. I wonder
if the fact that his name "Bordam" looks so much like "Boredom"
had anything to do with it? Olan Durai. AkA Orlan, author of
the Durai papers. He is an astrologer, adopted son of T.G. Cid. Ramza
saves him at Goland Coal City and the two become friends. Olan strives
to prove the church's plot but doesn't succeede until many generations
later. Kletian Drowa. A wussy Temple Knight
who looks like Delita. He's a sorcerer Marquis Mesdoram Elmdor. The Silver
Noble to his allies, the Silver Ogre to his enemies. Marquis Elmdor (That's
mar kee, I believe) was a hero of the Fifty Year War who lived in Limberry.
He is kidnapped by Gustav, a Death Corps Soldier, and rescued by Ramza,
Delita, and Algus. After this Marquis Elmdor returns to Limberry and 'dies'
in battle. He offers his soul to Lucavi and becomes a demon. He is Sephiroth's
long lost brother :B Balk Fenzol. Another wussy temple knight. The engineer of the temple knights who spreads poison all over the battle feild in the Bed Desert. He's ugly. Wiegraf Folles. A hero of the fifty
year war, Wiegraf Folles appears to be Ramza's rival early on. When Ramza
kills Miluda in battle, Wiegraf swears revenge until he confronts Ramza
at Orbonne. When he is defeated and near death he makes a pact with the
zodiac stone Aries and becomes Velius. Wiegraf doesn't last much longer,
he dies at Riovanes Castle. Killed by Ramza. Gaff Gafgarion. A mercenary who is hired by Prince Larg to kidnap Princess Ovelia. He is the only one who knows Ramza's true identity in the beginning of Chapter 2 and is killed in the end of Chapter 2 by Ramza. Gafgarion is simply a pawn used by Dycedarg. Rafa Galthana. The sister of Malak.
She joins Ramza in an attempt to make her brother Malak see the light.
However, she sucks so much all she can do is cause the party trouble.
She was raped by Barinten which is never stated in the game but is heavily
implied. She is a heaven knight, the last of her kind. St. Ajora Glabados. The head of the Church of Glabados. St. Ajora is worshiped as the son and prophet of God who brings the ZodiacBraves back to save Ivalice. He is actually a supremely evil being ... and stuff. Prince Druksmald Goltana. Head of
the Naten Knights and lord of Zeltennia castle. He is killed by Delita
Hyral. Iron Golem 8. The Iron Golem requires
the Aquarus Stone to function. He was found by Bestrodio in a drift in
Goug where he appeared to be nothing more than a steel ball. This 'worker'
is brought back to life by Ramza when it comes in contact with the Aquarius
stone. It performs many tasks, such as disposal, compression, dancing,
and "beating up Mustadio" Beowulf Kadmas. Another 'secret
character' of the game. Beowulf joins Ramza when Ramza ventures to Collery.
He is searching for the Holy Dragon who is actually his love, Reis, transformed
into a dragon by a curse. He's a very powerful character, very useful. Prince Bestrada Larg. Brother to
Queen Ruvelia, Larg has intentions of ascending the throne. His allies,
the Beoulves have served him for quite some time. Dycedarg, Larg's best
friend, kills him in the confusion of battle after the Mosfungus has been
spread through the air. Cidolfas Orlandu. (Thunder God Cid) Is a heavenly knight who befrended Balbanes Beoulve during the 50 year war. He leads the Naten knights until convicted of treason, when he is sent to Beltha Garrison to wait for his execution. Ramza, Balmafula, and Olan rescue him the day before the execution and he joins Ramza's party. Cid is the POWERHOUSE of your party. Taking him into battle is basically cheating. He could win a battle BY HIMSELF. Simon Pen Rakshu. A priest of Orbonne
Monastery who finds Germonick Scriptures and begins to translate them.
He is wounded during an attack on the Monastery by Izlude and Wiegraf
and dies soon after. Zalmo Rusnada. A pagan examiner
who convicts Ramza and chases him to Zeltennia castle where he is killed
by Delita for 'knowing too much'. Vormav Tingel. Patriarch of the
Tingel family and a Temple Knight. He appears to be in charge of the Zodiac
Braves and searches for the one who will serve as a host for Altima. He
is the father of Meliadoul and Izlude Tingel. He is the one manipulating
everyone as a whole. Rofel Wodring. Yet another Temple Knight lacky. He opens the gate to Murond Dead City. |
